I thought that you would be allowed to chose it's apparence, clothes, occupation (agent in Squidbeak, intern at Grizzco's...) weapon and traits that will bring both advantages and disadvantages.
If I take for example Peanut, which has excellent senses, mostly hearing and view, any loud sound will make her in trouble, as she will be disoriented, but she can hear footsteps and other noises, which means that ambushes and traps are impossible to be used against her.
But, as she's an E-Liter player, she will have some trouble with multiple ennemies, as her kit is mine and wave breaker.

Shiver loves Stringers, the Order Stringer is on her Side Order Palette.
Frye loves Splatanas, her Side Order Palette is the Order Splatana, the plastic toy that you can bonk your siblings with.
Big Man prefers Sloshers, the Order Slosher is on his Side Order Palette

Meh. I join Kirbnation on that one. I feel like a splatana mixes better with Shiver's personality.
And tbh, I think it would be better if they switched frye and shiver's favorite weapons. I feel like it would fit them more.
