Allow me to give you a quick rundown of what to expect;

The first couple episodes aren't really that special but they do buildup to the upcoming war that sparks in the 7th episode, the previous ones always ending in the "Skibidi Toilet" head lunging at the Cameraman. The war starts to slowly grow more intense, with less and less humans being seen period, hinting their extinction.

The war is slowly growing into a world war, with new friends and dangerous foes. The Speakers and TVs provide their strength and technology to benefit the Cameras, however the Toilets will "borrow" some of that technology to further grow their own army.

That's as much as I'm willing to give you, if you're still interested then I recommend starting from episode 1.

Nah, online culture tends to exaggerate just about everything, the official series by "Dafuq?? BOOM!!!" (or however you're meant to spell it) isn't as bad as it is made out to be.
I believe that a big reason a lot of people tend to have a big dislike for them is because it falls under both of the "Popular=bad" and "New=bad" mentalities,
