I honestly hope that MLB moves the team number up to 40 teams. I wanna see some in San Antonio, Salt Lake, Portland, New Orleans, Las Vegas Oklahoma City, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Nashville, and maybe some Canadian cities like Winnipeg or Ottawa. This is, of course, if the A's franchise history stays in Oakland and the players and personnel go to Vegas, like the Browns situation in the '90s.

I can actually see that happening in the future. If they go full circle, it'll be gut-busting. I actually want to see some shared stadiums. I think it's a unique concept that saves space, like how the Knicks and the Rangers use Madison Square Garden. Imma go into story mode here: The Bears used to play at Wrigley Field, but they got kicked out after the 1969-1970 NFL season because of capacity issues. The Bears played at Soldier Field and wanted to stay there until they could boost the capacity, but ended up staying there because it was a great home for the team. I wanna see something like that. Maybe once a year, the football Giants play at Yankee Stadium or something.

Instead, we should keep the A's in Oakland and give Vegas a new franchise made from scratch (also Montreal).

Remember how the Browns technically moved to Baltimore, but the team history and colors were supposed to stay in Cleveland? I want that to happen with Oakland and Montreal. We can revive the A's and the Expos that way.

Franchises are meant to relocate when nothing else is possible. This means that there's essentially no reason for relocation.
Stadium issues? Play at a local college one
Team's bad? Rebuild the team with draft picks
Low on money? Do something like Dollar Dog night

Moneyball sorta ruined the A's to begin with. In 2021, they were a respectable team who had legitimate playoff odds. The ownership effed that up and traded Olson and Chapman because they all thought the team would need a rebuild. That failed, and here we are. Moneyball should only be used like how Beane originally used it, where the team lost 3 of it's best players in one offseason and was originally projected to be one of the worst teams in the sport. Fisher's cheapness on what used to be a solid team is concerning. He's never spent a dollar too much in his life. He tried to use Moneyball and he failed. Almost like he's addicted to not spending any money.

I forgot to say, I am also a Mariners fan but I still feel like its betrayal. And, The Raiders did it already sooooooo, Oakland, say goodbye to sports.

Manfred and Fisher don't care about the game anymore. My faith in the game is burning and crashing because of these men. If Pete Rose can get banned for being a shitty gambler, then these men should be banned for trying to drive this great game straight into the ground.
