Was there ever a need for this unnecessary comment? Short answer; no. If all Redditors just shared their random thoughts the comment section would be even more clugged up than it is right now. I'm a student on Oxford (studying mathematical engineering) and my stream of thoughts is like the falls of Niagara, imagine if I said everything that came to my mind in this comment section. It'd waste up so much RAM (random accessed memory) that Reddit would literally have to buy more servers. So yes, TL;DR your comment just doesn't match any criteria to be in a comment section, hopefully something gets done about it (alerting the mods right now)
