Dreamscape Story: Five Bastards at sea: Introduction to the dreamscapes.

I read this again because it is great!

Really strong start, can't wait to see more!

We enter a dream that Reddit Cam is having, where he, 185, UO and WD are fleeing from.

"Come on! We gotta lose these guys!" UO screamed, firing at the dense forest.

"We get the idea! We're outnumbered here!" Replied 185.

After running further, a port could be seen ahead, WD is the first to point it out.

"Hey, looks like our way out is ahead!" WD said, picking up speed. The rest have problems trying to keep up.

Eventually, they board the ship, and Reddit Cam cuts the rope holding the boat in place, which makes it bob away from the port, Reddit Cam, heavily exhausted, collapses on the wood floor.

"Yo, RC, get the f**k up." UO said, clearly unphased.

"UO, i think... he needs... some rest...." 185 said, before collapsing himself.

"Go***amn UO, I think these two need to stay in the gym." WD said, also unphased.

"More like they got a little soft. Search this boat, make sure there's no stowaways, I don't want a repeat of the Al Maraz trip." UO replied. They split up and start searching the boat.

Reddit Cam gets back up, slowly and looks at the port, which is full of a bunch of raccoons in police uniforms. "I really gotta stop playing Project Zomboid before bed..." He says, before looking at the sails on the boat. "Oh f**k, this is a pirate ship. What next? The island gonna explode?"

Reddit Cam looks at the island for three whole minutes with no explosion. "Okay, guess not."

Suddenly, gunshots erupt from inside the ship, making Reddit Cam hurry down there. When he gets there, he sees UO trying to fight a merc, who isn't fighting. "EJA TI SHKËRDHATË MERCENAR! PËRBALLU ME MUA FRIKACAK!" UO shouts, before Reddit Cam quickly disarms UO.

"UO! We can't fire at non-hostiles! We've been taught that repeatedly!" Reddit Cam shouts. The merc quickly rushes to the surface of the pirate ship, where he gets caught by WD. Reddit Cam follows quickly afterwards.

"Hold on everyone! Let's just try to get every answer we can BEFORE we execute the merc, alright?" Reddit Cam says, clearly tired of this shit already. WD lowers his Smith & Wesson .500 Bone Collector.

185 gets up and immediately tries to attack the merc, which Reddit Cam stops. "Okay, are we gonna be civil about this or are the rest of these guys on board too blinded by their training as well?" The merc says.

Reddit Cam immediately recognizes the voice of the merc, its the merc he saved back in Copper-9. "Vernon Logan. In the flesh and dream." Reddit Cam says, going to shake Vernon's hand.

"Gas Mask Man, haven't seen ya since Four score and Seven years ago!" Vernon says, doing a secret handshake with Reddit Cam.

185 has the look of offense on his face. "You got a new name you punk?" he says, clearly offended.

"Relax 185, just an adopted name from Copper-9 when I was saving the innocent. You didn't hear the gossip?" Reddit Cam says to 185.

"You know damn well I don't. Why should I? Besides, when I did somewhat hear about a Gas Mask Man, I thought he would've been a merc who was redeeming himself, not a CVPA operative who was abandoned you f**k." 185 replies.

"Alright everyone, let's calm down, this is a dream after all, we're all gonna wake up anyways soon. We probably are gonna hit a wall that'll wake us up when we get too far." UO says, getting between Reddit Cam and 185. "This probably isn't all true anyways, there's no way Reddit Cam and this 'Vernon Logan' guy know each other, otherwise that island'll explode before I finish my-"

The island blows up starting from the center, and fire quickly spreads, consuming the dense forest in a matter of minutes, burning the raccoons and everything near it to a crisp. The explosion sends the pirate ship sailing far from the island.

"Oh. f**k. I guess they do actually know each other... and about that wall... any idea when we'll hit it?" WD says.

UO looks a bit shocked. "I don't know, my dreams usually cut off before the explosion, sometimes in the middle of it. Never after." He says.

WD looks at UO in some disbelief. "Should we attack each other to see if we'll wake up?"

UO goes to speak, but 185 socks Vernon in the face, which makes Reddit Cam chokeslam 185, and it devolves into a fight club brawl.

The fight spans out for nearly half an hour, the five bastards are battered and bruised, but still there.

"okay, i will admit... I think we're f**ked royally..." UO says, wiping blood off his face.

"so... what now guys?" Vernon says to Reddit Cam

"we sail... i guess, until we wake..." Reddit Cam says. "we sail..."

"so we're just bastards at sea now, not bad for a group of friends who mimic actual pirates, huh?" 185 says. "looks like it..." Reddit Cam says before collapsing again. This, is the start of a long and boring trip...
