Elijah: he walks up to you "Hey are okay ", "I hope you know smoking is going damage your lungs".

"Yeah, I understand, but it helps with stress." He said with a sigh

"Understandable but you can be doing something else instead when I'm stressed I usually listen to music or just write music".

"Yeah, but my family's killing me slowly."

"But why kill yourself by smoking ".

"I'll be fine. I've been smoking for years."

"So what is your name ".

"Alino, and you?" he asked

"Its Elijah".

*he approaches him* hello

He turned and nodded his head. "Hey," he said, the cigarette in his mouth

You changed from electric to regular smoke?

He nodded, taking a drag and blowing out the smoke

Let me guess the double aa batteries are too expensive?

"Nah, this just works better."

Anyway why do you smoke?

He shrugged. "I dunno. I started when I was 15 and just never stopped."

Were you curious what they tasted like?

He shook his head. "My brother used to smoke so I started smoking as well."

Well want to head inside or stay out here and talk a bit more

He turned and smiled. "Hey, Umbreon."

U: hey... why ya smokin?

"My family and stuff." he said with a sigh

U: ah, family bullshit.

He nodded and groaned. "I hate them so much.."

U: same, except with my bio parents. my moms are pretty cool.

Alino nodded once more and smiled. "We always manage to have something in common"

U: *smile*

Luminine: Dude, that's gonna kill ya one day. Mind if I join?

He turned and nodded, handing them a cigarette. "Want me to light it?" he asked

He nodded once more and looked away

Luminine: question. When we yawn to deaf people think we're screaming?

He blinked and tilted his head. "What makes you question that-? Probably though."

Luminine: if I weigh 99 pounds and a pound of nachos would I be 1% nachos?

He nodded. "Yeah, probably."

Luminine: sorry, I get weird when I smoke

Thorn: Ya good?

"So, there's food downstairs in the kitchen and stuff-" He said, running out of ideas to talk about

Thorn: *smiles* I'll be able to see when I go inside.

He nodded, smiling. "Of course. I have a guest bedroom and there's a bathroom in the room as well."

Thorn: *smiles* Thanks.

"No problem. It's always good to help someone if you've been in their situation before."

Thorn: *nods*

"You can stay for as long as you need, I don't mind"

Thorn: *tears of happiness fall* T-thank you!

He smiled softly and wiped their tears. "It's no problem at all."

Thorn: B-but what if your parents don't let me stay?...

"I live alone, it's fine." Alino said with a resuring smile.

Thorn: *nods*

He turned to look at them and sighed. "Just family issues.."

Thorn: Oh?

He nodded and took a drag

Thorn: Got a cig I could have?

He nodded once more and handed them a cigarette. "Want me to light it?" he asked

Thorn: Nah. I can light it myself. *she breaths a small flame, lighting the cigarette*

He nodded and took another drag, blowing it out.

Thorn: *takes a long drag, letting it out* You wanna talk about the issues?

He tilted his head from side to side. "Just my parents scolding me about everything and trying to make me date someone I don't want to."

Thorn: Oh? Well then... It's your life not theirs. They shouldn't tell you who you can and can't be with.

He nodded. "I hate them."

Thorn: Parents can be sh!theads sometimes. *quieter* And sometimes they can be just abusive...

"Agreed. I've been abused a few times. Not fun at all."

Thorn: *nods and rolls up one of her sleeves, showing you that her left arm is a robotic arm* My mum did that to me.

He blinked and nodded, raising the back of his shirt, showing multiple, long scars on his back. "My dad did that."

Thorn: *her eyes widen* Holy sh!t!

"Yeah, it hurt but I'm still alive." He said sadly. "He did that to a poor 8 year old.."

Thorn: I was 6 when my mum cut my arm off. *she gives you a sympathetic hug* At least you weren't experimented on for like 18 years...

"That sucks- My parents tried to kill me actually- and they tried to kill my brother but he moved out before they could." He said, hugging back.

Thorn: *nods* My situation gets worse every day... S' alright if I stay here for the week? Parents are pissed and as soon as I get to my home, I'm gonna get beat.
