My fingers are literally throbbing in pain T^T

I don't use nylon I use wire strings

ik but playing for long periods of time with your finger pressed down to the string so it has a good sound hurts too

I cut my fingers on my strings when I play

How much time you've been playing guitar ?

Almost 7 years but my callouses have a tendency to go away

which means my fingertips become soft again

i litterally play every day now , and my finger feels like f**king steel

My shins are the same way (minus the callouses) I do MMA and I kick metal with both my shins and feet and I can no longer feel it and when I kick people they say it feels like getting hit by a large piece of steel

I have naturally thick skin but my fingertips are sensitive
