The video hardware is based on Yamaha V9958 with some added features from Amiga and EGA-era IBM PC compatibles.

A large amount of MSX, Famicom, PC-88 and C64 games/software and a handful of ZX Spectrum, CGA/Tandy/EGA-era MS-DOS, Apple II, Sharp X1, ZX81, SG-1000, Master System and C128 games/software and a few Elektronika BK-0110 sofrware were ported to the Trinity-X.
