Not sure how you let 2 1 loss teams in and not a 13-0 team. Makes no sense. But we all know who’s winning this.

Look at my argument for alabama. Texas has all of those and a win over alabama (which is why alabama is #4), so Texas gets the nod, as well as alabama

I know, I’m just really nervous

Also the NCAA went back in there “rule book” and said they couldn’t compete in the playoff because two people got hurt.

YA IT DOES THEY WON WITH A 3 STRING QB SO THEY CAN BEST ANY BODY

A 3RD STRING QUATERBACK COULD NEVER LEAD THEM TO A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. IT WOULD BE A DIFFERENT IF JORDAN TRAVIS HAD NOT GOTTEN HURT. THAT IS SOMETHING THAT THE COMMITTEE HAS TO LOOK AT, IF A TEAM IS MISSING A KEY PLAYER OR COACH THAT COULD NOT RETURN BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS THEY HAVE TO LEAVE THEM OUT!!
They made the right decision.

Bro Bama deserves to be in the playoff. Let me tell you a few reason why.

1. Alabama has better wins. They have a win over the #1, #11, and #13 teams. Florida St, meanwhile, has wins over #13 and #15. Btw, the win on #15 was because of a Louisville team that was highly overrated (need we remind you of the loss to lowly Pitt?), and they struggled to win that game.

2. While it is true that Florida St has won a conference title, Alabama has also won one, and the SEC is much more prestigious than the ACC.

3. Strength of schedule is a very important factor in deciding the penultimate rankings. Alabama had the 5th toughest schedule in the country, according to ESPN Metrics, while Florida St had the 55th toughest schedule that they also struggled with to a point. It is therefore easy to argue that, had Florida St had Alabama’s difficult schedule, they would have had a record more like 11-2.

4. While many people argue that Alabamas loss to Texas deserved to exclude them from the playoffs, that loss came to a team that is very highly ranked, and that loss was extremely early in the season (Week 2) and they were using a QB that had never really played a college game in his life, much less on that stage.

5. If you didn’t watch the Florida St - North Alabama game (like most people), you might not know that Florida St QB Jordan Travis suffered a broken leg. The next game, backup Tate Rodermaker suffered a head injury. They clearly hit a very low offensive ceiling, as they only scored 24 points against a sub-500 team in Florida. It is inconceivable that Florida St could have beaten a heavyweight Michigan team, especially not with a QB who went 8 for 21 for 55 yards. The entire point of the CFB is to give us the best matches between the best teams. It is impossible to imagine Florida St as a better team then a huge Alabama team with a strong defense (held the best offense in the country [LSU] to 28 points) and has a extremely potent offense that would cook Florida State’s defense alive

I said this to another comment of yours that is this comment so, lemme say it again. SEC sucks other than 3 teams, FSU was undefeated, CFP has a really big infatuation with the SEC and that is the only reason why Bama made it

That is not true. The Sec had 6 ranked teams compared to ACC 3

The sec has 6 good teams. LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee
[deleted]

The ACC has 3 teams: Florida ST, Louisville, and NC State. Louisville isn’t even that good (lost to Pitt and Kentucky) and NC State lost to Duke. So really, there is only one good team

LSU had the heisman trophy winner, and the best offense in the country. Some yes some no, but they could not hold up against some of them. Mizzou nearly beat Georgia.(lost by 3) Bama beat the #1 team in the country. Agreed. They never got "CRUSHED" except for their game against Georgia and they played a close game with Bama but fell apart at the end. Tbh Mizzou is very underrated, they played a close game with LSU, and Georgia, they have a QB, WR core, and a RB all worthy of playing on sundays.

Dillon Johnson rushes for 150 and scores a go ahead TD with 2:30 left and the Husky defense holds the Longhorns to the 30 and the Longhorns take a shot at the endzone and the pass is deflected. Game Over 31-27

Quinn Ewers throws 362 yards passing and launches a 27 yard touchdown with 1:14 left. The huskies move it up and take a 53 yard field goal as time expires. It misses wide right. Longhorns win 38-35

Fine, here is another scenario, Penix and Ewers both throw 330+ yards the game goes down to the wire. Texas leads 34-31 Washington drives down. With 1:14 left and get to the 32, Grady Gross kicks it up, doinks it in. Overtime, Huskies slow down Ewers and the Longhorns and forces them to punt it. Penix leads the Dawgs on a long drive and they score a 23 yard touchdown with Odunze. AMAZING. Game over 41-34

It didn't give me the option to reply so I'm replying on my own comment. Tbh any of these scenarios would be amazing. Me personally, I'm just happy the Huskies won the last Pac 12 title game. It would be nice to beat Sark because he used to coach the Huskies and it's just kind of fun beating Texas 🤷‍♂️. Oh, and one more thing, the Huskies beat the Longhorns in the Alamo Bowl last year 27-20
[deleted]
0 ups, 11mo
I’ll give you another scenario. The running game gets goin for both teams, with both teams scoring over 24 points on the ground. The longhorns take a 35-28 lead, but Michael Penix connects with Odunze for an amazing 74 yard touchdown. Overtime. Longhorns get the ball and score an immediate touchdown. Same with Washington. Next is the 2 point duel. Washington gets the ball first and scores 2 points on a fake jet sweep. Texas scores a 2 point on a rollout pass to the left. Texas gets the ball next and gets their next pass swatted. Washington tries to run it in, but gets stuffed. Texas gets ball and scores, and Washington tries an rpo that gets tackled at the 2 yard line. Texas wins 46-44

UW is so underrated like every other team in Washington. UW> Texas
