Well, not exactly, its a long story, but a nasty ass Kai (his name is Zamasu) or "Nature God" wants revenge on all Mortals. In the future, he takes Goku's body. He calls himself "Goku Black", (I will refer to him as "Black"), basically an emo Goku with a god complex. He kills almost all Mortals except some few, like Bulma, Trunks and Mai (from OG Dragon ball) They were holding back this bitch, but he would always win. Well, Trunks goes to a different timeline to get Goku and Vegeta to beat the shit out of Black. Black follows him, gets the shit beat out of him by SSJ 1 Goku, and gets sucked back to the timeline he came back from. By the way, there is this thing called a Time Ring that basically makes you immortal and gives anyone the ability to travel to different timelines. That's gonna be important later too. Anyways, Goku, Whis (The angel next to the god of Destruction) and Beerus (The god of Destruction) get curious and go to the Tenth Universe to investigate. They find Zamasu (a past one), and immediately, Goku being his dumbass, wants to fight him. He beats him in SSJ 1. He gets pissed. After the trio leave, Goku Black goes to this past Zamasu, and makes an ally out of himself. They strike a deal. Present Bulma pours some fuel to the time machine that Trunks pulled up in. (Quick side note, Future Bulma is dead now) Trunks, Vegeta and Goku all decide to fight Blacks bum ass and gets their ass beat. Twice. The third time, after begging Present Bulma to make more gas, and discover Goku Black's bum ass can become a Super Saiyan too. The SSJ Rose you see there in your picture, that is basically Goku Black's zesty Super Saiyan form. Past Zamasu pulls up, both SSJ Rose Goku Black and Zamasu beat the shit out of Goku, Vegeta and Trunks (again) Vegeta and Goku have to use the fusion called Vegito (my personal favorite fusion) using the Potara Earings. Zamasu fuses WITH HIMSELF and they fight. Vegito unfused after 30 minutes, but not after beating the shit out of Fusion Zamasu. Trunks finishes him off, but that fails, so Goku, Vegeta and Trunks, (Along with future Mai) dip just as Zeno the omni king wipes. Sorry for all that, but that is the story of Goku Black.
