*He hugged her, then Lian followed shortly after. Larissa, exiting her room with a bag of her stuff, joins in as well*

"Awwwww... umm, Larissa? While you're with Charlotte, can you ask her something for me...?"

Larissa: "Hm? Yeah, what?"

"She knows stuff about sleep, right?"

Larissa: "She sure does sleep a lot."

"...can you ask her if I'm okay? I'm having a lot of trouble sleeping out of nowhere and I'm a bit nervous about it..."

Larissa: "Don't worry, I will."

"...thank you so much, Larissa."

Larissa: "No problem."

"Haha, what am I worried about...? I'll be able to sleep fine tonight...!"

(Upon closer inspection, her eyes are slightly red.)

Lian: "... y-you're sure you're ok? Your eyes are a bit bloodshot.."

Lloyd: "..oh..you should really try and get some rest.."

"I tried... I just can't seem to sleep. Should I be worried...?"

Lloyd: "I would be. Try doing calming things, like.. having warm milk or just relaxing in your bed. If things get a bit too hard, try taking some melatonin."

"Thanks, Lloyd... I'm just a bit nervous... I've never had this much trouble sleeping before..."

"I'm sure it'll go away real quick."

Lian: ".. it's fine. It can wait."

*he cuddled back and Lawrence got in with them*

(Monday morning, Lauren comes down the stairs, looking very tired. All the kids are already awake.)

*DAY 1*
"Hey, mom!
...a-are you ok? You look a bit tired.."

"...I didn't sleep, Lian."

"..o-oh, no.. are you sure you don't wanna go back to bed?"

"N-no, I'll be fine... I'll just go to bed a bit earlier tonight! Everything is fine."
(She gives Lian a weak smile.)

"...w-well, ok.. if you say so.."

"Yawwwnn... so, what do you wanna do today?"

*I just ate lunch with my family and I am feeling the "Charlotte after sunset fatigue" ouuuggghh had too much Dr pepper UUGGHHH*

"...Lian, I'm okay. I promise!"

*Charlotte put her arm around Larissa's shoulder despite the movie only just starting (since they are facing inward it looks something like this), which makes them both blush*

(Lauren glances over at them.)

*she undoes this immediately out of respect and fear for Lauren and rests her hands on her stomach. She looks a bit scared*

"...Charlotte?"

"Uhm- y-yes?"

"You can go back to what you were doing... I'm not strict..."

*she let out a small sigh of relief m*
"..thanks...sorry for freaking out again, force of habit.."
*She put her arms back around Larissa, lowered her eyebrows, and blushed*

(She looks back over at Lloyd, half expecting him to be asleep.)

*he is as she expected*

"Awww..."
(She lovingly rubs the side of his head.)

"Alright!"

(She playfully rubs Lian's head.)

*he hugs her*

"Awww..."

Lian: "So, anything in particular you wanna do?"
Larissa: "..Should I stay? I would wanna ditch you guys.."

"...Larissa, if you want to spend time with Charlotte... w-would you mind bringing her here...?"

Larissa: "Oh, sure! I should go to get her now. Be right back!"
*She went to the door*

"...hey Lian... I bought the Mario Movie on our TV. Sort of a gift for you. Wanna watch it when your sister gets back home?"

*Larissa noticed this and dashed out the door*
Lian: "*GAAASPP* OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODTHANKYOUUUU!!!"
*He hugged her very tightly*

"Awww, I'm glad I made you happy!"

*he hugged for a bit before letting go and getting up, visibly happier and more comfortable*
"Thanks."

"No problem!"

"..but really, can I get you anything for the headache?"

"Hmm... I think there's some Tylenol in the cabinet."

"Two."

*he went off and quickly came back with 2 Tylenol and a glass of water*

"Oh, Lian... you're so kind..."

"Lian... I can tell you're really worried about me."

"I'll get plenty of sleep tonight. I swear it."

"...I could lend you some of my stuffed animals to help..

*he hugged back tightly*

"You're such a good kid, Lian..."

(That seems to hit a weak spot or something. Her eyes fill with tears of joy.)

"..yeah. you're the best one a kid could ask for."

(She starts fighting back tears and sniffling. Lian doesn't see her cry often at all.)

"..m-mom, are you okay?"

*He quickly ran off and made an ice pack. He grabbed a headband so Lauren could wear it, then gave it to her*

(When he comes back, there are tears streaming down Lauren's face.)

*he puts it one her and hugs her tightly, being very worried*

(She looks over at Lian.)

*He's relishing the movie*

"Lian, are you enjoying the movie?"

"Aww, I'm glad!"

"Thank you so much for buying this!"

"No problem, buddy! O-ow..."

*Lian got a bit saddened and Charlotte was confused*

"Owww... I think the headache's coming back..."

*he patted her back*

"..*sniff*..yeah..?"

"I'm starting to panic..."

"..s-so am I.."

"I- I'm scared, Lian... I'm r-really scared..."

"Wh-what time is it...?"

*he looks at the clock. It's.."

"Hey Lloyd... you mind if I lay right next to you?"

(She lays next to him and makes herself comfy.)

*Lian walks up to them as if wondering if he could sit next to them*

*Charlotte sat on the other end with Larissa, being so close to her that they were sort of pressing into each other. They both found this very comfy and blushed a bit*

"Oh, of course!"

*He cuddled in next to her*

(She hugs him and puts the movie on.)

"...a-are you okay? You look rough.."

"...Lian, I got no sleep again."

*he seems a bit saddened* "..o-oh.. it wasn't my fault, was it?"

"..are you sure..? Do I snore..?"

(She slightly giggles.)
"No, silly, it's not your fault!"

(Lian notices Lauren's eyes are redder than before.)

*just a phew minutes later, Larissa and Charlotte show up, seemingly tired from running. Surprisingly, Charlotte is carrying Larissa on her back*

"Well, hello you two! You're back quick."

she said we needed to hurry for Lian, and I knew what I had to do!"
Larissa, slightly flustered: "..babe, you're so strong.."
*Charlotte moved Larissa to the front of her body and wrapped her arms around her before remembering where she was, and set her upright, where they both blushed and averted eye contact with each other*
Charlotte: "..u-uhm, thanks for letting me come over, --Lauren.
..say, what was that thing for Lian I hurried for?"

"Well, I bought the Mario Movie for him, and I was thinking everybody could cuddle up in the living room and watch it!"

Charlotte: "Aw, sick! That sounds great!"
Larissa: "Yeah!"

"Lloyd already told me he's taking the corner spot, haha..."

Charlotte: "..can we have the other corner..?"
*Larissa gets a bit more flustered*

"...alright. But don't get TOO frisky over there, okay?"

".. your hair is a bit messy too.. do you want your brush?"

*he turned to face her and wiped her tears*

*he covers his mouth and stops talking. He started to tear up a bit and back away*

*He then ran off to his room*

*he shut the door quietly and quietly cried in his bed. Lloyd and Larissa went after him*

(She enters Lian's bedroom.)

"Lian, you didn't do anything!"

"..y-yeah I did..I was talking too loud and it aggravated your headache..."

*He picked up Lauren and put her in her bed. Lian followed them and got in next to her*

*what if she contacted Mr because he had "knowledge of the occult" or so she called it but he just really liked scary stories and stuff*

Charlotte: "...ohhhh..."
Lian: "..uh, uhm, d-do you need an ice pack?"

"I- I think so... oww... O-OWWW..."

*he VERY QUICKLY made an ice pack and gave it to Lauren*

(She presses it against her head, painfully swearing under her breath.)

*everyone looks a bit concerned for her, with Lian looking very worried*

(Her breathing is getting heavy.)

*Lian is tearing up a bit and gently hugs her*

"Wh... why... why does it hurt so bad all of a sudden..."
(There's a knock on the door.)

*Charlotte, being the least involved in comforting Lauren, gets the door*

(It's Lawrence. He has no idea about Lauren's whole... situation.)
Lawrence: "Well hello Charlotte! Wasn't expecting to see you!"

"oh, uh, hello, Mr. Funnyguy-- uh, Lawrence. L-lauren didn't get any sleep last night, and now she has a headache."

"What?!"

"Yeah."

"Where is she?!"

"In the living room, on the couch. She wanted to have a Mario movie watch party."

(Lawrence rushes to Lauren. At this point, she's laying in the floor, hands on her head. She paused the movie so Lian doesn't miss it.)

*Lian of course is freaking out and crying*
Lawrence: "Lauren! Are you alright?!"

"H-hey babe... m-my head hurts... it hurts really badly..."

*he crouched next to her and held her hand*
"Is there anything you need that can make this better?"

"I wanna sleep... but I can't... I... I'm scared, babe..."

*jokingly* "Aw, rats."
*Seriously* "don't worry, we won't."

"Alright, good. I'll probably be cuddled up between Lloyd and Lian if you need me."

Charlotte: "Alright, Ms.-- sorry, sorry, Lauren.."

(Charlotte notices Lauren's slightly tired manner and bloodshot eyes.)

Charlotte: "...h-hey, are you ok?"

"...I didn't sleep last night."

"..oh... that's rough. I haven't gone a day in my life without a nap..
... usually I just get a comfy position, close my eyes, and just.. have a calm, sleepy mindset. I'm not even quite sure why sleep comes so easy and frequently to me, not even doctors do. Hasn't bothered me, though. Sometimes I'll just nod off."

"Thanks for the tip... I had a headache for a bit, but Lian helped me out like the wonderful little helper he is!"

"Awww..."

"...alright, let's go."
(She begins walking to the living room.)
