Caelum was a woman from a distant future who managed to become the goddess of an ancient civilization. It all started one day, when she happened upon an old, functionless device in the middle of a forest. With her great mind, she managed to fix the machine, and upon activation, there was a flash of light, and Caelum went unconscious.
She soon woke up submerged in water. After emerging from it, struggling to breathe, she realized she was not in a forest anymore. She was in a fountain in the middle of an ancient city. Without any technology, clothes, or the strange device, she panicked, and embarrassingly ran inside the nearest building. However, it turned out to be a place of worship, and it was filled with people. She tried to apologize, but strangely, the people inside were not angered. They must have interpreted English as a godly language, and thought Caelum was a god. They treated her like royalty, and she soon rose to power as this realm’s defender.
Centuries passed, and so did the citizens of this city, but strangely, Caelum did not pass. The device must have had an effect on her mortality. The one-thriving civilization fell. Caelum lamented at the loss of all of her friends, but she knew she must stay strong, as she believed that one day, she would be needed once more.
