Pebblenose: "Sir, is something wrong?"

*The warrior trodded up to the deputy, ears tipped back in concern.*

Hydratail: "Ah, Pebblenose. No, nothing is wrong currently."
*The tom with a nearly spiked tail had a bit of doubt in his tone, but aside from that he seemed to be his typical self.*
"And if there was to be anything wrong, it would be a manner to be kept between me and Ragestar unless it be urgent that the rest of the clan be aware."

"I see."

*She didn't quite believe that, but who was she to push? Perhaps Hydratail was still adjusting to his position. That was understandable*

"Well, it's good to hear nothing's up. Wouldn't that be one heck of an early task to deal with?"

*She nudged the tom playfully*

*Hydratail gave his classic chuckle, the one he had often given to apprentices and kits. It seemed as if he'd just needed to smile again to gain confidence.*
"Truly, indeed."

"Remember to rest after the patrolling's done. Don't overdo it. I've made that mistake."

*She purred*
