but we realized that freedom causes some people to be annoying so we had someone under full power, like dictators and monarchs. but people didnt like that so we overthrew most of them sometime later. republics also didnt work that well either. the united states has politicians at eachothers throats. ancient rome, another republic, had politicians literally at eachothers throats.
