At Christmas orchestra and choir combine at my school (2 orchestras and like 6 different choirs) for a concert. They each play two of their own pieces then combine a billion different songs in several variations and the whole thing is like 2.5 hours long
I hate myself for being an orchestra kid at those times because we can’t leave the stage at all

at least you dont have to wait an extra hour AFTER everyone leaves because your dad is the band director

and at my last concert there was this 5th grader talking the whole time and it was pissing me off bc i couldnt hear the high-school band >:o

I hate those kids (my bro is in band) so I know both sides of the deal
