The reason he goes wild when he takes the hit from Caliber is because it really hurt and he knew that it would have hit Lian, meaning that he could really hurt the others, so Mr's brain release a ton of adrenaline

sadly can't add that considering the 9999 damage of Caliber's blades

the major bosses are Puppeteer's henchmen
there are occasional minibosses against controlled characters though

What's that

certain attacks can give your character a status ailment
such as Burnt, Scared, Poisoned, Silenced, etc

Silenced sounds the moth threatening, what's that
Also isn't that what they do in Omori

i thought omori was more, like, emotions
but when a character is silenced, they get tape over their mouth and they can't preform any attacks that require them to speak (like spells)

some characters are more/less susceptible to certain ailments based on their personalities

At like the start of the fight against Caliber, Mr is calm and composed. Then he takes a hit for someone. His eyes grow bloodshot. His mouth froths. He tears of the bat to reveal the 'really angry' face. And he grows animalistic.
