Complexly and always divided and in no shape united in any sense of the word. Several of them should break away in my opinion.
"States"
This one is a joke but technically the state means the whole country so breaking it down into states is incorrect. territories or provinces are better words. lol
"One nation"

"Under God"
Rates of religion have plummeted and a nation that was once heavily christian is no longer. New age thinking has begun. Whether you think that good or bad its true so it's still wrong (Im calling bad btw as a christian myself, hate me idc)
"With liberty and justice for all"
I will have to talk in person to go over a 50 hour lecture to even begin with a single topic on how corrupt they are. 50 hours without including racism, like lets skip what passes through the public eye and look an inch deeper. Justice or liberty is an illusion, a well maintained illusion but trust me you are not free.
