try marching backwards while slide marching (we had to do this for our show and it was agony)

I once told a kid to prove it was easy. He then proceeded to high knees across the room and very badly at that. I then opened up and told him how to do it right. He couldn't figure it out and very soon gave up with the added "You're wrong and I'm right".

Everybody else in the band: sit down, kid. You know nothing.
