One day- wait, not just any day. It's Lian's 16th birthday! The Funnyguy family is celebrating at home, and just as Lian is about to blow out the candles, they hear a sound outside.
yeah that's all i have of the intro and i don't feel like writing more rn 💀
but basically, Acre (the Funnyguys' hometown) is taken over by the Business Boys, a villainous gang of corporate yet cartoony scumbags. The Funnyguys, sent several islands away by the Business Boys' attack, have to make their way back home and defeat the Business Boys.

there are 8 worlds, and 12 secret exits

What does each world and exit contain?

W1: lush, overgrown city
W2: a lovely alp-like mountain that you climb higher throughout the course of the world until you fight the boss at the peak
W3: a farmland that catches on fire in one level
W4: beach
W5: factory
W6: mines full of chocolate
W7: mint leaf forest that has another factory at the heart of the forest, but it's a more eco-friendly wooden/brick factory
W8: Acre but taken over

the secret exits open up paths to different levels

What sort of enemies does the game contain?

most of the enemies are the Business Boys' minions, but there are also world-specific enemies that aren't affiliated with the Business Boys

so, each world ends with a level where the world-specific enemies give you a performance to celebrate your victory over the boss (that's USUALLY how it goes)

Why exactly ARE the business boys expanding their property, and why not expand it over a forest instead of a residential area

they lost their original property, so they set off to find a new place
and Acre was the perfect size

"oh yeah we are going to pave over this place full of houses instead of the much larger forest, what do you say, men?"

also there are two types of traditional levels, aside from the normal platforming levels (they're rarer though)

Like what

well, there are the Glass Rocket levels, where you're on a rocket made of glass that's automatically moving to the right. it can take two hits (or three if you've got easy mode on). because of the rocket auto-moving, Glass Rocket levels frequently have events timed to the music.
and there are the rollercoaster levels, where you're in a little cart on a track that's, again, automatically moving to the right. you have to jump over obstacles.

in world 6, Fantoche's currently unnamed brother hypnotizes the head honcho of the mole miners and it pretty much turns into a secondary boss fight

nah Fantoche is the Puppeteer's minion
and it's less happy and more intense/fast paced because you're being attacked by an entire corporation of pickaxe-wielding moles

I can't help but imagine the moles looking like snick from pizza tower with a \v/ face

that's actually exactly how i imagine them looking oh my god
