I’m putting this as a steriotype because 2 schools besides mine in my area (uil 5a area a) have bass players who can’t play bass. (Btw, my school basically has a tradition of good bass players at this point, ours isn’t this stereotype)
BAND STEREOTYPES 3; 1. YOU PROBABLY WON’T SEE THEM PRACTICE 2. DON’T KNOW THE MUSIC, JUST LOOKS COOL 3. PLAYS THE INSTRUMENT WRONG (USUALLY PLUCKING WITH THERE THUMB, NOT THERE POINTER FINGER) 4. DOESN’T LOOK AT DRUM MAJOR 5. MORE COMMON THAN A MARCHING BAND WITH A ACTUALLY GOOD BASS PLAYER; THE PHONY ELECTRIC BASS
