Hoplash, Coaliz, and Sapliz are stuck in a storage container. It seems to be made of incredibly durable, heatproof, and stiff material. Hoplash slams into the wall.

“329,” Sapliz counts. “Hoplash, why dontcha give it up? This tank,” he jabs at the wall using one of the blades on his arms, “is near indestructible. We ain’t gettin’ out anytime soon.”

Hoplash sits and pouts. Coaliz sighs. Sapliz leans against the wall. The flame on Coaliz’s currently lit tail lights the room.

SOME TIME LATER

The room is now dark. Everyone is jolted awake by loud rumbling, followed by metal screeching and bright lights.

“Secure the cargo.”

Several men in hazmats scramble around, surrounding the three small creatures. Sapliz lunges and slashes. Coaliz releases a breath of flame. Hoplash shoots intense beams of water using air humidity. The hazmats are unfazed.

All three of them are seized, and put into cages. Hoplash’s cage is dry, Coaliz’s is cold and wet, and Sapliz’s is hot.

As they are carried away, the hall is lined by many scientists, all of whom are observing small creatures, and conducting tests. One woman is gutting a large rat creature. Hoplash wonders if that’s how they’ll end up. Gutted.

The three cages are set down in a room with tinted glass. As the door shuts, the cages beep and open. Hoplash, Coaliz, and Sapliz walk out, drained, and plop on the ground.

Suddenly, a screen lights up. On it is an image of a bright yellow octopus creature.

“Hello, hello, hello! Welcome everybody to class!” The three stare at the screen, confused. How could one be so cheery? And what does he mean by “class”?

An image of a drop of water slides down the screen as a groan is released seemingly by the octopus thing. “Alright, my name is Pixelsensei, I’m an ai designed after one of the greatest educators to ever walk the face of the earth, hehehe.”

Our three protagonists continue the same stare.

“Uh, anyways, how are you all today? Lovely weather I must say, heeheehee!”

Sapliz says, “We just got snatched from our home, whaddya think?” Coaliz chimes in, “It kinda sucks.”

Another groan. “Okay class, if you could bear with me, I promise you’ll be out of the building in a jiffy.”

The three eye each other, then nod (or twerk, in Hoplash’s case). “Fine,” they say in unison.
