i'm thinking about getting tf2 when i get a windows computer

do it (also go in community servers instead of casual servers because they let you talk and use voice commands even if you’re a F2P (because the bot problem got so bad they won’t let you communicate if you haven’t bought something))

Also do you unlock classes or are they all available from the beginning

all classes are available, and weapons are random drops / rewards for doing contracts. the only things you have to pay for is cosmetics and keys for unlocking crates.

Also how does equipping weapons work

you have a primary, secondary and melee weapon. you press 1 2 and 3 to equip them, or use the scroll wheel. you can also press Q to swap between the last 2 weapons you used. also you can press ESC to go to the menu and open your inventory
