I hate that we are used as merely a trick to distract audience from the shιttiness of a show.

Shows that do this also tend to portay LGBTQ+ people stereotypically and inaccurately, rarely actually care about LGBTQ+ issues and instead just use some stereotypical minority character, that might not even a relevant to the story, as a way to boost up their polularity.

Are there shows out there that have good LGBTQ+ characters? Do shows need more LGBTQ+ characters? Absolutely! But token minority characters just suck.
