what if shade was like the most cheery villain ever list of things: -chair with really, really tall back -garfield plush -big evil-looking room -actively supports the heroes -alligator pit -actually just a farmer or unpopular streamer in his free time instead of doing villain stuff -loves corn -sounds angry when he loses but instead of yelling angry words he says something nice, like "I HOPE YOU HAVE A NICE DAY!" -likes to give people a good, fair fight -genuinely kinda nice *heroes kick down the massive doors to shade's evil room* *they see shade in his really tall evil chair, facing the wall* hero one: "WE'RE HERE TO PUT AN END TO YOUR TERROR, SHADE!" *shade slowly turns the chair around, revealing an alligator chilling on his lap, hugging the garfield plush* shade: "hello, my name is shade, and welcome to my quote-unquote evil room!" hero two: "uh..." shade: "would you like a hot cup of coffee? do you wanna, like, pet billy?" hero one and two: "we're here to kill you." shade: "hooray! good for you!" *surprisingly big alligator jumps out of alligator pit* shade: "molly, say hi to the visitors!" *alligator makes (happy / kind) gestures and sounds towards the heroes* shade: "this is molly."; i wish i could draw this. or animate it. i wish i could animate at all 😭
