An unfortunate day in US history and a stain on our world. That unfortunate day, is the day we mourn for the death of 3,000, in what would come to be the largest terrorist attack in history. 2 planes struck the World Trade Center, killing many innocent people in the initials impacts. The towers, a sign of patriotism and faith of our country, fell, killing many on the streets as well as the blue skies of New York. That day, a plane struck the Pentagon building. Innocent lives were lost. That day, a great sacrifice was made in which unnamed heroes would be mourned. A fourth plane after being hijacked by terrorists was crashed into a nearby field after passengers regained control of the plane, killing nobody but the heroes who took the ultimate sacrifice. We mourn these people and that day.
