Hello. You may know me, or more likely you don't. This post is for the people who know me, so if you're new, there's no need to read the sentimental stupidity that will proceed. Thanks.
I've already been on a hiatus for the last few months, and in this absence I now know that msmg will never be the same. So, from here on out, I am never touching this site again.
Msmg was made during the Covid-19 pandemic, a time where teens with nothing better to do (such as myself at the time) could sit and waste a couple hours. For 2 years, that was my paradise. It's almost shameful how much I was dedicated to seeing the latest memes, talking to others in my same predicament, and looking out and participating in all of the drama. By God was there a lot of drama. I saw every arkumm until the fateful Narkumm. I watched friends drift away, and found new friends in new users. But still, I held fast. Still, I remained hopeful and entertained. As my parents split, as I was evicted from my home, as I went through so much turbulence in my real life, MSMG was my anchor. It sounds stupid, but I really felt that way.
Unfortunately, the times I have described have all but past, and now the floodgates are unfortunately quite open. Every new face is just a shitty person, it feels like. None of the development, none of the friendships, none of the moderator commitment, none of the charm is here anymore. And as MSMG changed, so did I. I'm not some sad teenager hoping to find a friend and a laugh. I (much as it may seem fake) have a life. I simply don't need you guys anymore. You were there when family died, you were there when I was lonely, when I was sad, even times when I was fine. You were my people. But I just don't need this, or even want this anymore.
