nah it's this game's SEQUEL that i think is the most beautiful story ever
this game is mostly just silly fun (except for the guy whose wife dies and the guy who gets mugged by a rival gang and the noose in the hub world)

it's... a bit darker than your average Mario game
but it's still funny as hell and very enjoyable
