Imagine Static Man knows that Fade is Lian but pretends like he's Lian anyways and proceeds to mentally torture him

"I'd rather not. Possession gets uncomfortable after a while."

"I could just force your being into my mind."

"Nah lol."

"Don't care." He gripped Fade, forcing him into his mind. Fade is in an endless void, accompanied by a 17 year old kid, dressed in some weathered clothes, staring at a TV full of static.

"Man, this place is so boring and monochromatic. Not that my castle's much better, but at least my TV has good shows."

"O-Oh! A guest! I've been here forever..don't worry, this is my favorite channel." Static.

"Guess that means I'm here forever too, right? Well, good thing this isn't canon! What would Chapter 5 do without a villain?"

Static appeared. "Nah. That's just my past self that's stuck. He's a wuss, I beat him up every now and then."

"Oh okay."

"Anyways, let's leave." He took him out.

i feel like Fade and Static Man would be friends, or at least chill with each other, since they're both visually intimidating villains who cause problems for like no reason

Static Man: "Hey, Fade, you pretending to be Lian means that you're legally obligated to watch the meat grinder incident video 5 times a day"

"Ooh, the meat grinder incident! My favorite!"

"I show him this every day, it's pretty funny." He plays the video. "Yep, there's that little spider, all tied up on that conveyer."

"Hey, uhh, I know we're both beings of chaos who have no motives for our wrongdoings other than the fact that we find it fun, but can you... not show him that? I know I tried to turn his friends and family against him in an act of identity theft, but... that seems a little far. So just... hold off on the meat grinder video, okay?"

The most menacing stare, despite having no facial features. "I can destroy you...I can reduce you to but a speckle of the static screen called life. It is my right as an American to show a man a video of his boyfriend being put in a meat grinder? Why, because it's funny."

"Oh, you could destroy me, eh? I'd like to see you try. I am nothing... yet I am everything. I could only die if I made time for it in my schedule of pranks and tomfoolery. I live for chaos, and I die for nothing. I could take your body and replace you, laughing as you fade away. Yet I choose not to, because we are similar to each other. We cause problems because we can. I've cursed an entire civilization to never see the sun again and silenced its residents until its impossible sunrise. I could erase your "meat grinder video" off the face of the earth with a raise of an eyebrow."

"Oh, you just try to enter the inner part of my mind. I doubt you'll come back."

"Wow, really? Impressive! Tell me, what dark secrets lurk back there?"

"Why don't you look inside and find out?"

"Well that was cool. I wonder if I've got a little dude chilling in my head watching TV?"

"Probably not."

"Eh, you never know. It'll give me something to think about at night other than how to cause more problems than I already have."
