Furries might be responsible for color in places in which they appear, but they also cast a shadow on innocent fandoms which is why we dislike their methods. I used the word "methods" because nobody would give a sh:t about them or start arguments with them if they did not ruin so many enjoyable things in life. A few examples:
Sonic the Hedgehog: A really cool franchise which even temporarily beat Mario in the nineties.
Pokemon, which has a very powerful Psychic type pokemon evolution line starting with Ralts, a cool water-type fox and a fighting-steel-type ancient god. The latter has been abused especially noticeably.
I could go on, but I don't want to.
Of course, the Anti-Furry movement has its downsides. There is the very large part of the movement which is telling furries to kill themselves. Then there is the part that deoes nothing, and finally, there is the small portion of us that actually goes out and talks about reasonable agreements.
But the majority always wins and that will cause a lot of issues for both sides.

The sexualization of characters is often not linked to gamers because they want to enjoy the game the way it is. This is not a problem with the people who play the game, but a problem with perception in general.
Pornography stars actually get paid and if they quit, they need to find a new job. Porn artists do not need to find a new job in order to stop producing pornographic imagery.

I am trying to convince people that wat they are doing is hurting the ability to connect. Also, I do not ruin hobbies for others. I try to tell people to stop ruining hobbies shared by large groups of people. That does not just include Pokémon.
