Ok that makes sense. 9/11 or September 11th (2001) is the day that two planes crashed into the Twin Towers of the world trade center in NYC and killed thousands when they came down. And in America we "celebrate" it as a reminder that even the most powerful nations have their weaknesses.

Its in quotes because its not a literal celebration like july 4th is its just a day we keep noted on our calendar
