Icyheart, formerly Kaycee, was a member of a rogue group called Funa. Funa has some sort of connection to the Clans, though the extent of it is unknown. One night while out wandering, Kaycee came across BeastClan shortly after Elkstar had taken over. She was invited to join, and intrigued by the prospect of having cats around who actually knew her well, she accepted. Still, she couldn’t stay full-time due to her loyalty to Funa, she she had to constantly bounce back and forth and hide her split loyalties from the rogue group. Rather curious, Icyheart did a lot of investigation around the clan, leading to her discovery of the OLD_SPIRITS. Juggling Clan duties, investigation, and dodging suspicion, Icyheart grew stressed, especially as she learned more of the OLD_SPIRITS true nature. When it grew too much to handle, she concluded it was best for her to flee. She told Elkstar to hide the clan away, and left. Even with her abandonment of her Clan loyalties, Funa’s suspicions did not fade, and neither did her paranoia that she or BeastClan would be found out. Before she could know for sure, though, a fire started near Funa’s base. She was trapped in the flames and died.
Icyfall was born in BeastClan shortly after Kaycee left. She was named after the former warrior. She was killed as a kit by a falling icicle. Elkstar requested that despite her capturing, Stinkbug give the kit a chance to carry on. She complied and Icykit was brought to what little remained of DeadClan to be raised there. As DeadClan hadn’t had a Collector before, Icyheart decided to take that role when she could. During TechClan’s takeover, she willingly joined the new dominant clan, despite her reluctance.
