most likely after the site gets exposed for having shit mod system which causes a shortage in newer users by a massive youtuber
of course, the individual responsible for the youtuber having the information would be banned because they "jeopardized imgflip and it's users" or something along those lines, but it honestly doesn't matter. the site would grow cold from a lack of newer users [because imgflip would be banned on school devices after the exposè]
after that first deletion from this incident [which would be the guy who gave the youtuber the info] i'm certain a ton of people would rush to their defense, only to end up banned themselves because mods are narcissistic asshats who have a big red delete button, but no sense of urgency or proper understanding of when to activate it.
this would case others to leave in MASS in order to avoid a deletion wave, or because there is simply no point since a lot of the content would kinda stop existing since everyone left after the exposè video dropped. after that, it's only a matter of time before imgflip gets abandoned for being samey and having far to many rules in place that are objective for everyone else but the sitemids.
TLDR: imgflip finally gets exposed for it's horrendous moderation and overall very dysfunctional system when it comes to gaining points and experience, causing a lack of new accounts. after this, a deletion wave occurs, causing users to simply up and leave the site, dragging the imgflip population down because more people are leaving than they are joining. the site team could try all they like, but eventually the same 2000 users would be the only ones left, and at that point, all posting would most likely slow to a crawl, or the mods would get rid of it all together
