In splatoon of japans post it says it will be in the news on the switch once ver 5.0.0 is out which it is out but i guess it hasn’t

You have to change your account location to japan or make a jp account to get japanese news and get the banners

How does one do that??

On the nintendo website you can change your location on your profile i think or you can make an account that has its location set in japan
