As if Vivek Ramaswamy’s claim that there are “only two genders” wasn’t incendiary enough, now he has resorted to a multipronged transphobic attack on Admiral Rachel Levine. Let me count the ways.

with her pre-transition given name of Richard.
(2) Misgendering her by calling her a “male (sic) physician.”; (3) Questioning the validity of her status as the first female head of the USPHS Commissioned Corps or her qualifications for USA Today “Women of the Year” honors.
It is truly mind-boggling how Ramaswamy, a cis man married to a cis woman physician, cannot fathom the reality
