for those of you who don't get it: back in the 1800s they had to use coal to heat their houses and now minecraft coal is the only coal most of us see (fr tho i don't remember EVER IN MY LIFE seeing real coal)

ya i've seen bagged charcoal but not COAL

once i got pretend "coal" in my christmas stocking (chocolate candy with crunchy nuts or something in it) but yeah ive never seen real coal
