Any true fan would know this was before she became a princess. Heck before she even moved to Ponyville. So title doesn’t make sense. She wasn’t even an alicorn, this is season 1. THE FIRST EVER EPISODE. Still a funni meme though

Twilight is a terrible friend tho, see season 5 episode 12, "Amending fences." She ignored her Canterlot friends for 5 years despite being the princess of friendship and them showing up routinely as background ponies in ponyville...

You have a point. But if they were planning on them reuniting, then why were they present in her home?

Real reason: the show only had a few pony models, in the early seasons, so there were many duplicates.
Cannon reason: Twilight's friends frequently traveled to ponyville to see their other friends such as Pinkie Pie, who is everypony's bestie.
But it still begs the question: the princess of friendship can't spend two minutes to talk to her Canterlot friends for 5 years?
