Part 3: That Was A Very Bad Idea

Spectre was inside the house getting something. What was left of Phantom was outside, on the grass.

Spectre soon came outside.

Spectre: Please, God, let this work. I’m all out of options.

She would hold a jar of Corrupt Substance, one of the jars that Phantom kept after he fought himself in case of an emergency.

Spectre: I’m so sorry I had to do this. Here goes nothing.

She opened the lid and poured the Substance over Phantom’s body.

The body would twitch before getting absorbed.
If this didn’t work, she would have to fight whatever emerged from the substance. If it did work, she’d have him back.

Meanwhile, in the Unholy Plane:

Phantom was at a bar, at a table.
A man walked up to him.

???: That’s my seat.

Phantom: And? We’re in Hell, not like you’re always gonna get what you want.

???: That rule applies to you too, then. (he’d throw a punch at Phan)

Phantom: Ow… you wanna go?!

But before the fight could start, suddenly Phantom froze. He looked like he saw a ghost.

???: You scared? Huh?
He’d throw a punch, but it went right through Phantom. Phantom wasn’t there.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, Phantom was absorbed by a massive amount of Corrupt Substance. Spectre’s plan worked. He was back.

But it wasn’t going to be that easy.

No. Since Phantom has been taken by the Substance, that means his soul was simply taken from the Unholy Plane. Meaning that Soulless Phantom was about to awaken.

Phantom’s eyes went open.

Spectre: OMIGOSHOMIGOSHYESYESYESYES YOU’RE ALIVE!

Phantom: Buh… whuh… thank you… but you kinda messed up…

Spectre: Wait, what?

Phantom: Since I’m alive… the substance… it’ll…

Spectre: Oh no.

Meanwhile, Sniper has taken up the hobby of shooting anything that moves. It was fun. So far, he’s killed 5 deer and 6 rabbits.

Sniper: I hear something… my sensors don’t see anything. Why don’t I investigate?

He’d walk towards the noise. He saw Spectre, trying to revive Phantom.

Sniper: W-w-WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?

Spectre: I-I can explain! I was uhh… trying… uh…

Sniper: DON’T ACT DUMB! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THAT BLACK STUFF DOES! I KILLED HIM FOR A REASON! (sigh) I guess I’ll have to kill you too.

Spectre: WAITWAITWAIT-

Meanwhile AGAIN, in the Underworld, 2 demons were talking to each other.

Demon 1: I just got word that a soul escaped.

Demon 2: Bah. Send the Keeper after it.

Demon 1 would start chanting in Latin before their eyes would glow red. A black, tall creature appeared before them.

Demon 2: Soul Keeper, find our lost soul and take it back for torturing.

kuro just just casually walking down the sidewalk and seeing this:

Spectre: It’s uh… nothing. It’s only 3 things trying to kill me and each other. Just go about your day.

Kuro: are you sure..? cuz that robot dude is about to slice ya..

Spectre: Oh, uhh… thanks?
Sniper: Seriously, man? I’m just trying to do my job, ok?

I have a feeling Soulless Phantom is gonna kill them all

and now Spectre has to deal with 3 things trying to kill her/phantom
