You could also bury the body in a deep hole, then cover it up with half the dirt. Then, take a dead animal or a pet that passed away, and place it on top of that. Fill in the hole fully. When the police use dogs to sniff out a body, the dogs will smell it and alert the police. But when they dig to investigate, they will find the animal, and assume that is what the dog smelled, therefore keeping the body hidden.

I just thought of how you could hide a body without it being discovered or smelled out by dogs, and this came to mind. As far as I know, it hasn't been tested, but it is less suspicious than seeing an endangered plant in a specific spot with a dog barking at it. :)
