I think msmg needs specialized moderation, like a different set of rules than the rest of the website, because this is well, special, this is a free-speech shitposting stream with internal rules closer to reddit than imgflip, people here are too used to being able to say whatever they want, regardless of whether or not what they're saying is even funny, or just down right harassment, and people here are there for that freedom, it's chaotic fun, but needs heavy moderation to compensate for the complete unbridled fury of the users here, the best thing to do isn't to make everyone feel like they're muzzled or have a set limit they can go up to, because realistically if it's like that people are just gonna fly as close to the sun as they can and only stop when their skin starts burning, you need a modding tactic where there's no drawn line, to allow people to not feel as if they're constantly gonna put themselves in hot water, but instead of having a limit keep a mutual, a feeling of where people know when they're going too far, so when they do get punished out of nowhere, it forces them to dig through their history and find out what they did wrong themselves, which is a much better damage control tactic that's also faster and people won't resume jumping the gun the moment they get out of their timeout/ban, sorry for essaying but it's a genuinely good strategy, I use it on other websites I mod for (twitch, discord servers etc)
