(To continue my explaination) Well, Hoplash is loosely based off of froakie, his earliest design resembling more wooper, and his second design being “if froakie was an older tadpole. His current design take heavy inspiration from Polly, from Amphibia (it’s a kids cartoon with some surprisingly heavy themes, would highly recommend it).
