I don't think this is a glitch, but I think the devs put this in to prevent huge "threads" of comments.

If þere's only 2 users þen it goes until þe second red comment. You can still reply to oþer comments

It is used because of a comment limit, if a comment reaches more than 10 replies, it will block off commenting, if you want to comment again, reply to the reply or the main comment
