Probably my first good story

One day, Eggyhead is teaching Lay how to make robotics in the late afternoon.

Eggy: And thats how you make a battery!

Lay: Thanks for teaching me! I gotta go home now though

Eggy: Ok, I'll see you tomorrow.

Lay: See you!

Lay walks into the house, silent as ever since Astra, Hakai, and Collector are all out doing stuff. He walks into his small room and sits on his bed which doubles as a charging station. He deactivates.

When he deactivates, it sends him to a 'hub' which is basically a dark, infinite room where he can make anything he's downloaded or seen. Its his safe place.

Lay: Alright lets review what eggy taught me.

???: You think thats what you need to worry about?

Lay jerks his digital head back, looking to see who's there.
Nobody.

Lay calls out: Who are you?

???: You. But better.

The figure reveals itself, looking like Lay, but has green eyes and glitch effects.

Lay: Oh, so you're the one who's been messing with my ai.

???: Yes, and i'm surprised you caught on so quickly, seeing how smart you are.

Lay: Wow, insulting my intelligence? Low

Lay and old Lay are standing off, nobody moving.

Lay: So why have you appeared here now?

O Lay: Just to take what's mine.

Lay: You weren't supposed to be alive, you're just a memory!

O Lay: OH YEAH?

Old Lay charges Lay, sword in hand, and slashes at him. Lay just barely dodges it.

Lay: You don't have to do this!

Lay summons his axe, just in time to block old Lays swing.

O Lay: I do, you aren't supposed to be the one alive!

Old Lay swings at Lay, Lay blocks and slices old Lay in the chest.

O Lay: uugghhh, how did you get that slice?

Lay: This is my mind, I can do what I want.

Old Lay jumps back as Lay tries slicing him again and swings back, but Lay dodges it. Lay blocks old Lays slice.

Lay: This has to end, or we'll be fighting all night!

O Lay: I'LL FIGHT AN ETERNITY IF I CAN LIVE AGAIN

Old Lay swings his great sword at Lay, missing because he's really angry and swinging around randomly. Lay takes a swing and slices him right in the middle.

O Lay: *gasping* h-how

Old Lay dissipates into pixels as Lay watches himself die.
