When my family were at the trip to Berlin, we visitied a lot of fun attractions and historical landmark. But this memorial is nothing short of jarring and depressing, considering what it was meant to represent. As you go there, you go deeper and deeper while the slabs go ever higher, you'd feel the emptiness, creepiness and sadness there. No horror films, no creepy masks, but a reminder of incredibly dark era in the German history.
