When Shaun the sheep is the scariest thing on earth

Why is Shaun scary

Stop motion. It's unnatural looking and unnerves me greatly

I think it's cool, like with The Nightmare Before Christmas

My problem is how stop motion lies right in the uncanny valley. Not quite natural enough to be human, but just natural enough to look alive.

It's just animation but instead of drawing frames you moves things to make them seem animated, like 3D drawings
