Sarah Lucas was never actually supposed to join the Navy. She never wanted to. But after getting into trouble with the local mafia, she needed somewhere to go. After a few weeks of hiding, she eventually decided on joining the Navy. Although she was highly unqualified, she was drafted anyways because plot. She also became a stealth operative and performed multiple successful missions. Eventually, she decided to retire because plot. I do not care if this is lazily written compared to Phantom’s lore. Just kinda hard to write when you know that people will read Phan’s first and don’t want me to state the obvious. Anyways, she met up with Phantom years later and realized they knew each other, and became a couple.

- PHANTOM -

Jeremy Charles Taylor’s parents died mysteriously when he was 6. No one knows how. They just did. With no grandparents, aunts or uncles, or godparents to live with, he and his 3 older siblings were forced out onto the streets of Chicago (where they lived, oh god why didn’t I clarify this before). I have no idea why they didn’t just go to an orphanage. Oh well. Anyways, they made an oath that they were to follow for the rest of their lives, an oath to stick together.
…That oath was broken 3 hours later, when a slightly inconvenient pitbull threatened to bite off their fingers. On the streets and alone, Jeremy resorted to violence to get the things he needed, often using a blade to get out of situations. Prolonged use of this weapon led to his love of swords today, and it’s the main reason why he uses melee weapons over conventional weapons such as guns.

Fast-forward to 8 years in the future, Jeremy is 14. The government is corrupt for whatever reason, and supplies are scarce. The government decides to make a plan to get rid of the homeless population of the USA’s major cities in an attempt to conserve resources. Their plan was to get multiple, at least 200 people inside a room, away from the city, and then fill it up with gas to kill them. However, Jeremy may have been outside chasing a squirrel when this happened. Realizing that the government might be trying to search for him to kill him, he immediately became paranoid and hid from any kind of law enforcement/government official for the next 4 years.

One fateful night, when he was 18, he snuck into a mall (idk for like food or something he’s still homeless) after hours and ran into 2 people who were still closing up shop. And what do you know, they happened to be people from the government who were drafting people into the military! Realizing they didn’t recognize him at all and probably didn’t care at this point, he eventually caved in and decided to join the Navy. He was recruited as a stealth operative due to his impressive ability to sneak in and out of places. He eventually worked up the ranks and got the code name “Phantom” due to him performing missions way too successfully, as if he was some kind of ghost.

Over his exactly 28 years of service, he met another operative, known by the code name Spectre. He had a tiny crush on her, but never got around to it. He would see her again later in time. Anyways uhh… later in the future he went on one mission, not knowing it was going to be his last. His job was to find and destroy an operation to create a super-weapon being built by a master criminal known simply as “The Mechanic”, known for inventing weapons that turn the Geneva Convention into a Geneva Suggestion.

Phantom successfully breached the walls of Mechanic’s hideout in the woods and captured him for interrogation. However, Mechanic had a few tricks up his sleeve. On the helicopter ride back, he reached into his pocket and set off a bomb, killing everyone inside the helicopter except for Phantom. Plot armor, am I right? Anyways, after a notably painful descent onto the ground, he was crippled for quite some time, around 7 months, and decided to retire from the military once and for all. For some reason, he decided to take up a job as an assassin rather than living a peaceful life. I guess he liked doing that. Anyways, uhh… Idrk what to say.

However, the ghosts of his past came back to haunt him in the form of The Sniper, one of Mechanic’s personal creations- a robot bodyguard trained to have extreme accuracy with guns. The robot decided that since its creator was dead, the only thing it lived for now was to get revenge. Phantom was able to evade it for some time until it eventually cut off his arm with a machete. It still kept it’s grudge .

Anyways, a few years later, he met Spectre again, who apparently has also taken the same path as him. I think you guys read the story I introduced her in, why the heck do you want a recap? Aaand yeah, that’s it so far. They’re a couple now, and the Sniper still is an annoying little rat to Phan. Anyways that’s it lol
