Omg, you reminded me of a story from my childhood. So when i was 7-8 years old i loved a game series caled Skylanders with a toys to life mechanic. One of the game figures (called Wash Buckler btw) was a kind of a pirate octopus and my parents told me that it looks like a charakter from Pirates of the Carribean and they really liked the way that guy looked. When i woke up one day and heard them arguing, i just grabbed the figure and "sneakily" placed it in the corridor hoping for them to stop arguing and be delighted by it. xD
