Tricera swung at Apex again, who blocked again. They fought back and forth through the hangar, damaging a few ships in the process. Tricera leaped on a stack of crates.
"It's finished, Apex!" he snickered. "I possess more elevated floorspace!"
"You talk a big game," Apex replied. "Too big."
"The point is," Tricera said, "I've spent fifteen years mastering telekinesis, and you haven't!"
"Oh really?" Apex grinned, and lifted himself up onto the stack of crates.
Tricera was dumbstruck. "Wha- how-"
Apex shrugged. "Kaiser power. I can manipulate air to do my will."
Tricera growled. "You little -"
The two of them began fighting again, using telekinesis and Kaiser to try knocking the other out of the way. But both of them stood their ground.
"Nice katana, by the way," Apex quipped. "Where'd you get it?"
"It was forged by Taya, the Bladesmith's Apprentice," Tricera stated. "I call it Ceratos, and it can cut through almost anything." He swung it at a nearby railing to prove his point. Ceratos cut it clean in two.
"Anything but Säbel," Apex said.
The two began to spar again, until they both leaped onto one of the catwalks in the hangar. Now on even ground, the two went at it even more relentlessly. Finally, Apex used his Kaiser powers to summon the biggest wind he could. He thrust it at Tricera, who fell on his back. Ceratos skittered across the catwalk and over the edge.
Apex pointed Säbel at Tricera's face.
"Yield," Apex said coldly.
Tricera looked at him for a second, then slowly nodded.
"Tell you what," Apex proposed. "How about you become my apprentice? Together we can rule the universe." He extended a hand to the Triceratops warrior.
Tricera considered it for a few moments, then shook Apex's hand.
"Let us dominate the battlefield."
