Since some people may not get the joke in the title, I will explain it.
By saying that "having a sob story doesn't make you a gangsta", I am trying to imply that just because a kid has a sob story, that shouldn't mean that they automatically deserve to win a season of AGT. I get that the judges have sympathy and want to show their support to these kinds of kids, but I feel that they tend to go too far, which is unfair to other contestants such as the Emerald Belles who actually are talented and actually did deserve to win.
