Dyrian Maldorsh was a normal lizard-man hybrid you would see regularly on the streets of Sorcen. He lived his life with an ongoing routine. He would go to his favorite coffee shop, work awhile at his box office job, and go home. Sometimes he would have some fun with friends, you know, like in the summer he took some days off to just hang out. Currently, he was mourning the death of his father, Calico Maldorsh. He sobbed every night when he went to bed. Eventually, at the age of 23, he was walking to his job, just minding his own business, and a yeti with an entire black outfit and black sunglasses (think Men in Black agent) started following him. He was concerned, so he started adjusting his pace, walking faster, and then the man adjusted his pace as well, and three other men eventually surrounded Dyrian. All of the sudden, everything went black, and he was in a dark room, tied up. "W-where am I?!" Dyrian questioned, a hint of nervousness in his voice. The yeti walks up to a table in front of him, and says, "Dyrian Maldorsh, is it?" "Y-yes??" Dyrian stutters. " You have been selected as a qualified agent for the Multidimensional Phenomenon and Investigation Agency. We are a secret segment of the Sorcen government that specializes in problems and unknown planets and galaxys' investigation." The yeti started to play a video tape of Dyrian growing old, and doing nothing with his life. He died doing the same routine, at 234. (Average lifespan, he would still be considered a young adult at 23, but the middle-aged concept has been extended.) This is a video recording of you in many universes. There is a 94% chance your life will end up like this." Dyrian looked horrified, shaking with fear. "WHY ARE YOU SHOWING ME THIS?" he shrieked, not accepting his fate. "To convince you to join us. If you join the agency, you will have an exciting life, and explore regularly. On the contrary, if you choose to feel as if you've wasted your life when you pass away, we can let you go. We will have to wipe your memory. Do you accept?" Dyrian looked horrified, seeing what his life would become. "Y-yes. I accept." *Dyrian continued to go through many military-like tests to be heroic, fly and drive many vehicles through training. He also had training similar to astronaut training for exploring universes. However, the most traumatizing training session was when he had to learn to cope with seeing dead bodies, seeing people get killed. PART TWO IS THE REPLY TO THIS
