I never go to the movies to see films anymore.
But Insidious, Mission Impossible, and Oppenheimer all had to come out in the same month.
This movie honestly feels more like a Conjuring movie than an Insidious movie. All the massive pauses before something jumps out. Patrick Wilson cries, so everyone in the audience cried.
The movie truly only shines when Josh and Dalton have interactions with each other or are trying to connect with each other. And also the ending with Josh’s dad. We never know who Josh’s dad was, but seeing that ending with him was fabulous.
I’m not mad that the movie exists. I’ll say that.
